Meet the Flock

Meet the Flock

This old gal is a large East Friesian ewe from a local line of milking sheep (she's the only one with ear tags, from their farm). In addition to dairy, she produces a decent fleece, not the finest wool but still good for felting, dyeing and blending with other fiber for spinning. She is a calm, confident and personable flock boss.

Rosita

A freckled East Friesian ewe and Martha's daughter from 2021. She is so sweet and easy to handle, even a bit demanding when it comes to cuddles. She has potential to produce dairy and fiber, and I particularly like her looks.

Martha

Rosita's son and the first lamb born on the farm, he has grown into a charming young ram.

His dairy bloodlines originate from Cate Hill Orchard in Greensboro, VT.

Junior

Born on a friend's farm in 2021. She has unique coloring and an exceptional fleece for an East Friesian. Looking forward to her first lambs, due May 2023!

The Boys

Apollo and Pinkman,

two of our 2022 lambs. They are wethers (castrated) and their jobs are keeping Junior company, growing wool and mowing lawns.
